German Mauser 98k bayonet. The bayonet set is marked 2909 on one side of the ricasso, Berg & Co on the other, and 38 on the back.
The scabbard is marked 6769.
The bluing on the 255 mm blade is still largely intact, the push button is functional, and the grips are black Bakelite.
