A very fine antique re-striking of the Grand Cross of the Order of the Holy Spirit.

High royal dignitaries were often awarded this distinction.
Dimensions: 10 x 10 cm.
A small repair to the bird's neck, otherwise in excellent condition. It can be sewn onto the chest of a dignitary's robe, either by threading the thread around the beads or by drilling a few carefully placed holes in the plate (some pre-made versions are available). A very decorative piece for a collection. An original costs several thousand euros.
