4 hilt bars nicely chiselled, as pommel and base of hilt. 2 bars have been rewelded (hard to see)
Initially blades were 975 mm long for dragoons.
After 1870 sizes were reduced.
Here total length is 1050 mm, with 920 mm long blade. Some wood (or horn?) lacking on grip (see pictures)
We found this sabre without scabbard, we added a remade one...Price of such sabres is quite higher with original scabbard.
