Similar in appearance to a spangenhelmet, this particular piece is a replica of a West European helmet of the period. It was widely used by Crusaders. Our replica is constructed from 2mm (14 gauge) steel and has an adjustable, spider style, leather liner and chinstrap. The skull is reenforced with a 2mm (14 Gauge) crossband riveted on to it. The robust faceplate is made of 3mm steel. With adjustable leather liner and chinstrap.
