When we find old sabres and swords, we can sometimes find new made scabbards to avoid destruction of these fragile parts.
You can also buy genuine weapons and military accessories for collection, not only Napoleonic, but also from other periods, because we know that most of you are not only interested by Napoleonic period.

We found it in a sheath that is not very pleasant and surely younger...We give sheath together, but better ask a shoemaker to make a new one

Global good condition. Need a cleaning, or need to wait oxydization of scabbard, you will do as you want...After buying.
New scabbard, same as type used during first empire that continued to be used for first productions of this sabre
Very low price for something near 200 years old.
Total length 86 cm, blade 73 cm.
Can be used for fencing, it was made for it, but can also break.
Anyway price is not higher than many new productions that are not as strong as this old sabre.

Ensemble escrime: 2 gants, sous cuirasse, masque (trou), housse pour armes,
Ensemble d'accessoires utilisés pendant la "belle époque" et avant...
Le masque avec son cuir est percé, mais reste un témoignage intéressant des masques du 19 ème siècle, sans bavette, vous pouvez tenter de le réparer avec l'autre masque qui lui n'a pas (plus?) de cuir du tout! Nous y joignons 2 gants, dont un percé, une sous cuirasse, 3 fleurets dont un cassé et une épée à lame cassée, pas encore latéralisée gaucher ou droitier, donc début 19 ème. Tout ça n'est pas en parfait état, mais pour débuter une collection l'ensemble réuni est déjà interessant et le prix est très symbolique.

Souvenirs portraits: 10 th regiment artillry et 11 th cuirassier
Vers la fin du XIX ème siècle et jusqu'à la guerre de 14, il était de bon ton de se faire tirer le portrait, et de faire incruster son visage dans l'image d'un soldat de son régiment mis en scène dans une espèce d'allégorie du régiment en pleine action.
Cela donne des images naïves, mais qui nous renseignent aussi sur les us et coutumes de l'époque, le matériel utilisé, son evolution...Etc. il est aussi parfois émouvant de retrouver la trace des hommes ainsi mis en scène.
Nous vous proposons 2 portraits.
Un soldat (nom inconnu) du 10 ème d'artillerie, (cadre 59 X 51 cm), postérieur à 1915, car on y voit un casque adrian au dessus de l'écusson en haut à droite, au dessus du drapeau national.
Celui du cavalier Robinot, du 11 ème cuir, le portrait (cadre 45 X 57 cm) est plus ancien, le biplan qui survole le champ de bataille doit être un des 1ers "aéroplanes" mis en service.
Pas cher, le prix comprend l'emballage renforcé pour éviter la casse. Petite fêlure du verre dans l'angle supérieur droit du cadre du cuirassier (voir image), vendu en l'état

Crescents for spahi officers collar tabs and kepis, 1914, price by one.
Collars and kepis of spahis officers were adorned by such crescent, first embroidered, then in stamped brass during war time .
Such uniforms were described in book of Laurent Mirouze, l'armée française dans la 1 ère guerre mondiale, tome 1, pages 404 and 405.
We found some original pieces in very good condition.

Voici 2 petits fascicules anciens agrémentés de nombreuses illustrations.
L'armée d'Afrique comporte 28 pages, format 187 X 274 mm, qui présentent 40 "figurines" en couleur illustrant des tenues de l'armée d'Afrique portées entre 1830 et 1930 (Année de parution de l'ouvrage).
La conquête de l'Algérie 183 X 268 mm est un ouvrage de 36 pages édité en 1944, petit accident au dos de la couverture.
Ouvrages en bon état par ailleurs.
Nous y joignons une médaille coloniale d'époque, en parfait état avec son ruban et sa barrette d'origine .
