Complete chin strap for Model 1884 enlisted men's kepi. New old stock. Manufactured by Éts David.
Among the hundreds of boxes from Éts David, we found brand-new, original chin straps for enlisted men's képis—the type used at the outbreak of the war.
This is fortunate, as this is often the small part missing when one unearths a period piece, and adding these chin straps instantly enhances the item's value.
The leather is very supple. There are no markings, of course, since these items were never officially accepted into military service.
Minimum length: 28 cm; maximum length: 50 cm. Width: 2 cm. Very, very limited stock.
