Cutlass sabre for fencing, 1833 type

Cutlass used in French army to train sailors with sabres.
Peak protected by a brass extremity to avoid accidents.
1 stamp on blade, 1 (impossible to identify because of painting) on guard
PRECEDENT PRICE: 340 €

Very strong, short and large (37 mm at beginning) blade.
Total length: 81 cm, blade 67 cm.

Rare and interesting sabre, no scabbard (I never find any of this type with his scabbard!).
