Good handle, more than 200 years old.
Blade, made in Germany, engraved " C. PUTSCH SOHN " on one side and " SOLINGEN " on the other, probably slightly more recent than handle.
Length 95 cm. Could be used by light cavalry, or mounted officers of infantry.
