Old civilian and military buttons, brass accessories, made between 1848 and 1960.
We bought hundreds of boxes of buttons made between 1848 and 1960 for different countries.
This is an opportunity to complete original uniforms, to make copies of uniforms for re eanctment, or even just to collect these nice little pieces of history.

Buttons for the Brazilian army, chiseled and gold pattern applied on 13 mm diameter balls
Stunning buttons that would now cost a small fortune to make.
The patterns on the buttons were chiseled, gilded, then attached to the ball button.
A work of goldsmith, carried out a hundred years ago by T.W§W in Paris , suppliers to the armies.
Around button, 2inscriptionss: "15 de Novembro de 1889" and " Estados Unidos do Brazil".
Inside is a 5 branches star, surrounded by a laurel crown. In central icrcle 4 étoiles symbolised constellation of south cross. 27 stars represent 26 bresilian states and federal district.
Diameter 14 mm. Extremely decorative, especially when size is not artificially increased by picture..

Buckle for officer belt. 1845 type
Buckle which adorned the belts of french officers from 1845 and quite later.
Made by David s, supplier to the army from 1848 until the end of the 1950s.
Height 60 mm, width 53mm.
Sometimes a little oxidation may be visible at the weld of one of the tabs of the fixing system, on the back. Otherwise, as new .

Buckle which adorned the blue and gold striped ceremonial belts of french naval officers.
Very beautiful workmanship, which slept with the descendants of the David Establishments, supplier to the army from 1848 until the end of the 1950s.

Made during WWI by Ets David, supplier of french army...and kept in family 110 years long.

Small stock forgotten in a supplier drawer
Goldplated brass, described page 294 of "Fallou". R and F for "République Française".
In gold for ambassadors, in silver for prefets.
Silver is new, it will become grey progressively.

Crescents for spahiANDNORTH aFRICAN TIRAILLEURS officers collar tabs and kepis, 1914, price by one.
Collars and kepis of spahis officers were adorned by such crescent, first embroidered, then in stamped brass during war time .
Such uniforms were described in book of Laurent Mirouze, l'armée française dans la 1 ère guerre mondiale, tome 1, pages 404 and 405.
We found some original pieces in very good condition.
