Pièce de passementerie magnifique mais dont nous ignorons l'utilité.

Largeur des carrés 18 mm.

Chaque petit carré est cousu sur une soutache afin de créer cet effet de chaînette, peut être utilisé pour border un vêtement, directement en ceinture ou même récupérer les carrés qui ont moins souffert que la soutache avec le temps.

Braid bought from a customer, origin unspecified...but we assume it's from Asia. It's new.

Width 7 cm. You will need to remove the yellow thread from the hollows of the "waves" that ripple beneath the floral motifs, which replace the oak leaves of authentic generals' hat braid. The proper braid, regulation type, is made by a French company, the last of its kind, and costs €87 per meter! And rightly so.
Minor weaving defects and possible stains in the cuts. Sold as is. Limited length. Price per meter.

Certaines productions ont plus de 100 ans, elles ont failli partir à la décharge, faites vous plaisir en leur redonnant une seconde vie.
