Gorgets and collars
Many types of gorgets existed for officers during Empire period.
Some collars were used as well by soldiers and civilians.

Gorgets revolution
Revolution period gorgets.
The one with "human rights" and on right motto: "Les hommes naissent et demeurent libres et égaux" is attributed to an officer of "Garde Nationale". We called it "men equality"
An other one is very close but on right motto is "l'Union fait notre force". We called it Union makes Force...may the force be with you!
We named the last one joined hands.
They are made in France, one by one, and then silverplated..it explains price

Empire officer's gorgets : horn, grenade, eagle on canons...
Brass gorget with a silver plated eagle inside a laurel crown, horn or eagle in horn for "voltigeurs", grenade for "grenadier", anchor for marine or eagle on canons for artillery.
Most common types are made in series in Asia (eagle), some others are made one by one in France, and then silverplated....it explains different prices!

Buttons for gorget, made in france, gold or silver - The pair
Sold by pair, used to attach the gorget to epaulettes. Braid is made in France, we took as model an original piece from Musée de l'Empéri in Salon de Provence. Leather protects the brass of gorget.
Can be done in gold but also in silver

Empire collar/cravate for peace and war
A remotable collar worn under the collar of the jacket.
Made in a black cotton cloth (wartime) lined with white cotton (peacetime). (Adjustable) buckle and strap.

Black or white "tie", 100 % cotton
Long piece of white (peace time) or black (war time) cotton, turned around neck and crossing inside opening of collar of civilians, but also for officers in "tenue de sortie".
