Bronze hilt with its original wire wrapping.
Good blade (showing oxidation), clearly marked on the spine: "Klingenthal 185?" (the last digit is illegible). Original scabbard with two rings; the chape (tip fitting) has been replaced.
Total length 84 cm, with a 70 cm blade.
A good, authentic period piece—very reasonably priced for an item nearly 200 years old, still retaining its original, well-preserved leather on the scabbard.
