Large map of France in 1806, engraved by Ch. Picquet, from the topographical cabinet of H.M. the Emperor. Format 130 x 165 mm

  1. Out of stock

This map featured for several years in our various exhibitions on the Empire.
It occupied an entire wall, and was protected by a Plexiglas window.
We can see that many of its departments are now integrated into foreign countries.
Pontivy appears there under the name of Napoléonville. The departments had their names assigned during the Revolution.
