Light cavalry sabre 1882 type. Varnished, bumps on blade
Good sabre with many inscriptions as"Manuf re d'armes de Chatellerault 7bre 1885. Cav rie légère. Mle 1882".
Unfortunately, it has been varnished to protect metal as people used to do decades ago, and colour turned to pale brown/yellow, it can be cleaned, if you want to do it, or kept as it arrived to us. Blade has obviously been used for fighting and is chipped. Price is lower than usually.
