Our supplier manufactured these pieces with somewhat weak rear attachment systems.
We sell them without any guarantee of durability if used to attach belt hangers for historical reenactment purposes.
However, these accessories are perfectly suitable for outfitting a mannequin.
They will also work fine if you simply slide the leather belt through the loops.
If you intend to use these mounts for reenactment, you will need to have the rear fittings replaced with sturdier posts.

The eagle plates were cast from extremely rare period originals.
For a belt carrying only a saber, two mounts may suffice; three are required to carry both a saber and a sabretache.
