We bought remaining production of a supplier, producing in France for armies of many different countries between 1845 and 1960, except during WWII.
In this stock, we found original ribbons for medals and some medals.
We also sometimes sell coins and medals coming from collections.

The Queen’s South Africa Medal was instituted by Queen Victoria in 1900, for award to military personnel and civilian officials who served in South Africa during the Second Boer War from 11 October 1899 to 31 May 1902

The War Merit Cross was created in January 1918 to honor combatants whose conduct was commendable, particularly in contact with the enemy, or who were wounded during combat. Initially limited to the First World War only, its attribution was then extended to all military campaigns since the Italian War of Independence.

The bronze medal was created by the law of November 9, 1911, awarded to combatants of the war of 1870-1871 who proved their presence under the flags, in France or Algeria, between the months of July 1870 and February 1871 included.

Excellent condition except N on FRANCS.
Profile of Napoleon is very well preserved, details of the hair are very visible
24,92 gr to compare with 25 gr of weight when made in 1810.

Banknotes used between 1959 and 1964.
This is the only banknote ever used in France showing Bonaparte...But never Napoleon.
During sixties banknotes were pinned together, so they are most of the times perforated and they were also teared by use.
A corner is not perfect on this one, but condition is globally good.

Médaille en bronze, gravée par Georges Lemaire, dont l'avers représente le profil de Marianne casquée sous les traits de mademoiselle Fernande Dubois, artiste de l’Opéra-comique et le revers portant la légende « Aux défenseurs de la Patrie » et le millésime « 1870-1871 ». Elle fut créée par la loi du 9 novembre 1911, décernée aux combattants de la guerre de 1870-1871 qui justifiaient de leur présence sous les drapeaux, en France ou en Algérie, entre les mois de juillet 1870 et de février 1871 inclus. Le ruban associe symboliquement le noir du deuil de la défaite et le vert de l'espérance du retour de l'Alsace-Lorraine à la France.
