Close to the final versions from the First Empire.
The main difference lies in the vertical positioning of the two ends of the tie beneath the laurel wreath.
Under the First Empire, these ends were angled at approximately 45 degrees.
Following the proclamation of the Second Empire (2nd december 1852), small eagles replaced the palm fronds on the wreath surmounting the cross.
