This sword style is more typical of the Restoration period or the very end of the Empire.
The scales of justice, whose manifestation of justice is exercised by means of a particularly massive club, seem to allow us to attribute this beautiful sword to a military justice officer.
The scabbard leather has been roughly repaired, not far from the clasp.
If you take the blade out while holding the sword horizontally, without support, you are almost certain to break the leather again at the repair.
So do not use this sword for reenactment, or have a second scabbard made and keep the first for your collection.
