Good stamps and inscription on blade (slightly grey):"Manuf d'Armes de Chatelleraut 1877 Off Inf ie Mod 1855".
This sabre was made in 1877, on 1855 type, with 2 rings on scabbard. In 1882 one ring was removed;
This type of sabre have been used till WWI and even later.
Total length 93 cm, blade 77 cm.
