Napoleonic sabres and swords
Under this heading you can find the Napoleonic soldier's basic weapons such as the Infantry Sabre Briquet or the Cutlass Sabre, but also some very fine weapons outstandingly replicated down to the markings matching exactly those of that time.
See our hussar sabres, all our sabres with blue and gold blades as our sabre for officier subalterne de chasseur a cheval de la garde.
We make our copies using a hugh documentation, but also genuine pieces from our personal but also from private collections, from which we make moulds.
Caution, most of our sabres are not made for fencing, when it is possible we indicate it clearly.
Our swordknots are functional, you can adjust them to your wrists, we make them in our atelier in France.
-
Oriental style sabre with damascus blade and gold inscriptions - Perfect for senior officers/generals - Limited serie 20 pieces
Many french officers and generals used these types of sabres, taken from mamelouks, all allong Napoleonic battles, as Murat and Lasalle, who were both in Egypt with Napoleon.
Mamelouk leaded Egypt when Bonaparte arrived in this country.
He was very impressed by the courage of these soldiers and brought some with him in France for his personal guard.
Mamelouks fought in famous battles as Austerlitz.

Chasseur a cheval, Imperial guard. Sabre for officier. New type.
Complete translation later....
Length 102,5 cm
Copy of a sabre sold on 6 the decembre 2019, by Thierry de Maigret, assisted by Bernard Croissy expert, in Drouot for 103.648 €.
You could not buy it, you can buy its copy.
We are really fed up to see our new productions copied by people who are unable to recreate Empire sabres by themselves.
So we change our former production for a more elaborate one.
We will see if our competitors will be unprincipled enough to copy again our production .

See our new sabre for officer, more beautiful!
We worked about 2 years to obtain blue and gold colour as 2 centuries ago on this french Officer Subalterne Saber.
This sabre equipped officers of imperial guard, especially the "chasseur à cheval de la garde" who had to follow the Emperor and protect him in all situations.
It explains why this sabre is so prestigious.
Have a look to fine details on scabbard: eagle, spider net...See engravings on blade.

Scabbard in blackened steel is adorned with nice chiselled brass accessories.

Bokken. Price without display
